Student Outcomes Reporting System (SORS)

The Student Outcomes Reporting System (SORS) is a web-based, interactive tool that can present 13 years of data from the BC College and Institute Student Outcomes Survey project. Institutional researchers at colleges, university colleges, institutes, and Thompson Rivers University, and decision makers at the Ministry of Advanced Education use SORS to explore the data, structure their own queries, and make custom reports. The tool's user-friendly interface makes it possible for non-technical users to obtain answers to their specific policy or research questions. The tool can present data for each institution, as well as provincial summary data, and is updated every year. While the CISO Survey has changed over the last 13 years, every effort has been made to ensure that data are reported consistently and that indicators are calculated identically over time.
